Bottlebrushes
I like this photo a lot. It looks like it could be a painting. I found it in an old photo album.
Here is some not very interesting information about the Bottlebrush Tree:
Callistemon species have commonly been referred to as bottlebrushes because of their cylindrical, brush-like flowers resembling a traditional bottle brush. They are mostly found in the more temperate regions of Australia. Some species are drought-resistant and are used in ornamental landscaping elsewhere in the world.
